Job Description:

As the Accelerator Program Manager at AI Engineering Institute, CMKL University, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and entrepreneurship in the AI domain. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing our accelerator program designed to nurture AI startups and innovative projects, guiding them from inception to successful market launch. This role demands a unique blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and a passion for fostering AI innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and refine the accelerator program's curriculum, resources, and support structures for AI startups and projects.
  • Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, investors, and potential partners to facilitate connections, collaborations, and funding opportunities for program participants.
  • Startup Selection: Identify and evaluate potential AI projects and startups for admission to the accelerator program, considering their technological potential, market viability, and alignment with our mission.
  • Mentorship and Guidance : Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to program participants, helping them navigate challenges, refine their AI solutions, and develop successful business strategies.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage program resources, including budgeting, funding allocation, and coordination of necessary facilities, equipment, and personnel.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor the progress and performance of participating startups and projects, conducting regular assessments and pivoting strategies as needed.
  • Report Generation: Prepare reports, metrics, and updates on program outcomes and impact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ecosystem Development: Contribute to the growth of the local AI ecosystem by actively engaging with the AI community, attending relevant events, and promoting the institute's initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (Business, AI, computer science, engineering) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project or program management, preferably in technology innovation or startup acceleration programs.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, innovations, and the startup landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated leadership and networking abilities within the AI community.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with grant management, fundraising, and investor relations is a plus.
