Administrative Coordinator coordinates, oversees, and/or performs a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, and program support activities on behalf of the President, Vice President, Directors, or comparable senior officers of the University. Serve as primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies, often on complex and confidential issues. Coordinate the provision of office and staff support services to the office, and oversee and/or participates in the coordination, supervision, and completion of special projects and/or events. May serve on a variety of committees in a support capacity.

The University also expects our Administrative Coordinator to provide additional services as requested by the University.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide confidential secretarial and administrative support for the principal executive or executives, to include managing the schedule/calendar, making travel arrangements, screening, and handling telephone communications, greeting, and directing visitors, and dealing with administrative problems and inquiries as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and external institutions and agencies on a range of specified issues; organize and facilitate meetings, conferences, and other special events, as required.
  • Gather, enter, and/or update data to maintain departmental records and databases, as appropriate; establish and maintain files and record for the office.
  • Monitor and coordinate accounting activities as appropriate and prepare internal reports for management; participates in budget planning and management, as required.
  • Coordinate and arrange events, meetings,appointments, and conferences.
  • Assist with project development and planto ensure more efficient service and organization of the office.
  • Compose and prepare written documentation and correspondence for the office; screen and evaluate incoming and outgoing correspondence and prepare responses as appropriate.
  • Assist in the coordination, supervision,and completion of special projects as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day management of supplies, equipment, and facilities for the organization, asappropriate, to include maintenance, inventory management, logistics, security,and related activities.
  • Be supervise personnel which includes recommendations for hiring, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
  • Perform certain tasks and duties asassigned by the supervisor.
  • Provide additional services to the University, external community, and the larger academic community as requested by University’s executives including, but not limited to, engagement in university-appointed committee or meetings, involvement in advising ofstudents, community services and activities organized by the university, activities in professional societies and university-affiliated organizations.

Qualifications and skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Great communication skills with well-organized & structured.
  • Handle multiple tasks, switch priorities and focus as needed.
  • Fluent command of both Thai and English (including writing skills)
  • Great interpersonal and coordination skill
  • Proactive and great problem solver
