The AIEI&program coordinator is responsible for the delivery of quality teaching and learning experience to support AIEI&CMKL students and faculties in accordance with program policies, procedures, and regulations. Oversees the success and completion of the educational/program. The duties shall include leading programs/activities, monitoring programs, assessing educational materials, faculties, and student satisfaction, and reaching out to business entities or other universities or partners. The University expects the AIEI&program coordinator to be equipped with brilliant formality writing skills and able to handle formal documents/reports.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director and academic team in designing the structure of the graduate and undergraduate academic program and setting departmental goals.
  • Promote high standards in all aspects of university life, particularly in student progress
  • Contribute to a university culture that is positive, purposeful, and professional
  • Coordinate scheduling of class venues as per faculty requirements.
  • Keep track of important faculty deadlines and send regular reminders.
  • Communicate student issues/requests to relevant faculty
  • Facilitating communications and coordination within an office and fielding interactions with the public or with university partners and industrial partners. 
  • Assist with presentations and reports.
  • Set up conference calls and take messages and minutes during meetings
  • Write emails, memos, letters, minutes reports, and proposals for projects or funding.
  • Attend and assist with school visits, client visits (current and potential), regional marketing events, and CMKL Marketing events as required.
  • Provide additional services to the University, external community, and the larger academic community as requested by University’s executives including, but not limited to, engagement in university-appointed committees or meetings, involvement in advising of students, community services, and activities organized by the university, activities in professional societies and university-affiliated organizations.
  • Keep track of important faculty deadlines and send regular reminders.

Requirement

Availability to work on Saturdays, based on the needs and schedule of the program, an AIEI&program coordinator may be required to work on Saturdays. This may involve being available to attend or facilitate Saturday program events, meetings, or other activities.
