Carnegie Mellon - KMITL Program

The Carnegie Mellon - KMITL (CMKM) program is our flagship collaborative research and education program with Carnegie Mellon University.

Graduates of the program will also earn the degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Admission criteria for the CMKM Programs are identical to Carnegie Mellon admission standards. Our programs also offer students unique opportunity to collaborate on research and education activities with major industries in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Study in a research-focused program utilizing advanced knowledge in ECE including AI, IoT and Computer Systems to solve industrial challenges that will transform our future. The program includes intensive study in electrical and computer engineering with the opportunity to specialize in data science, security, cyber-physical systems, software engineering, and mobility.

This is a five-year program with three years on the Carnegie Mellon campus and two years in Thailand.

After completing the requirements, students will receive Ph.D. in ECE degree from Carnegie Mellon University upon graduation.

M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Intensive study in the fundamentals of digital technologies with the opportunity to specialize in  in data science, security, cyber-physical systems, software engineering, and mobility.

This is a two year program with one year on the Carnegie Mellon campus and one year in Thailand. Students will also have the chance to participate in hands-on research and development projects in the second year.

After completing the requirements, students will receive M.S. in ECE degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
