🖋️Applicant's video must fit to one of the following categories/areas (select up to 3):

  • AI for Society : Bring AI technologies to solve the world's most urgent challenges and towards creating positive social change.
  • Human Centered AI : Key to the implementation of AI in context is a deep understanding of the people who will use the technology. This pillar examines how AI systems are designed to align with humans, their behaviors, and their values.
  • AI Innovation & Entrepreneurship : Artificial intelligence enabling business model innovation and digital servitization.
  • Scalable System AI : share how AI, infrastructure, data and innovative model can be used to tackle large-scale global challenges effectively & efficiently.
  • Secured and Resilient AI: One of the biggest challenges facing the broad adoption of AI technologies and systems is knowing that AI systems will work as expected when they are deployed outside of closely controlled environments. This area examines how we develop and test resilient AI systems.



📝Judging Criteria:

  • Innovation: How unique is the concept in comparison to other submissions or existing AI applications? The idea must be innovative and unique.
  • Feasibility : How feasible is it to build this notion in the near future. The idea must be realistic and logical.
  • Technology: How has the concept made use of AI and computing technology? Can you identify relevant technical concepts or key components of the technology required to complete your vision?
  • Presentation : How well and imaginatively have you presented the concept? How creative your pitch and the idea presentation.
  • Ethical: How well does this concept adhere to the ethical AI principles? How have they taken into account all six in their concept: Fairness, Inclusiveness, Reliability, and Accountability.

🏆 Awards:

  • Successful candidates awarded a scholarship will receive AiCE program tuition fee for 6-8 semesters ( Up to 2 millions THB per scholarship) and it will be announced no later than April 1, 2022.
  • The top 5 Outstanding idea submissions will get a prize of 20,000 THB, as well as AI Award Trophy for both individual and school.
  • The 5 Outstanding award announcement will be held on Dec 17 at CMKL Innovation Summit, Lido Connect. This event will be broadcast on CMKL University Facebook page.
  • The entries will be showcased at the CMKL Innovation Summit on Dec 17.
  • All creators will also be invited to participate in CMKL Innovation Summit Dec 17.

📄 Submission Procedure: 

  • Only submissions which are accompanied by the application form and are received on the deadline date, December 13, 2021 will be considered.

🏫Authority

The AiCE Scholarship Committee reserves the right to review the criteria and procedures of the AiCE Scholarship Program and to make changes at any time.  However, as long as the AiCE Scholarship Committee makes its decisions within the parameters of this Program Outline, the decisions of Scholarship Committee are final and are not subject to review or appeal.

The AiCE Scholarship Committee reserves the right not to award scholarships if there is no qualified entries.  It will depend upon the eligibility of applicants.  There is no limit on the number of scholarships an eligible student may receive.

Challenge eligibility 

  • Young enthusiasts are eligible to participate in this challenge. You do not need to have any experience or an engineering background!
  • Participants must share their ideas through a video story on how you envision yourself to be an AI Engineer who build better AI in the following 5 areas*;
  • AI for Society
  • Human Centered AI
  • AI Innovation & Entrepreneurship
  • Scalable System AI
  • Secured and Resilient AI
    *Participants must select up to 3 areas of your interests 
  • This story must be told in English and conveyed through a video recording no longer than 5 minute.
  • This video must be uploaded to YouTube and set to the public. Add hashtags on your video #AiCEScholarships2022 #VideoPitchChallenge #CMKL.
  • Send us your YouTube link and complete all entry forms through scholarship’s application portal by December 13, 2021 by midnight.
  • Candidates who are qualified for a full tuition fee scholarship must submit their B.Eng in AiCE Admission Application by January 15 to be considered.
