Program Overview

This accelerated program allows students to earn a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in 5 years*! The curriculum structure of the 1.5 year master program is designed in order for students to get a chance to complete it in 1 year.

Master’s Degree title will be Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering (M.S. in AiCE).

Students will spend their undergraduate studies at home universities, for bachelor courses  and during that time, students will have an opportunity to take 2 graduate level courses offered by CMKL University, at their senior year. *Special IMB track for B.Eng. in AiCE who will finish this program in 4 years.

For 1 year of the graduate studies at M.S. in AiCE, students will choose the following graduate programs;
- Thesis track : 36 Units of technical courses + 12 REI + 48 R&D courses
- Professional track : 96 Units of technical courses or R&D courses, and REI.

Credits earned from which will be transferred to satisfy degree attainment. Students will have the opportunity to complete Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in a minimum of 4 years!

Students will also be able to access CMKL AI Innovation ecosystem resources include AI supercomputer to enable computation at scale and join various of activities at CMKL to enhance your expertise!

Online Application

To apply for the CMKL program, please ensure that you submit your application through the official CMKL portal. This online application process is designed to streamline your submission, allowing you to conveniently upload all required documents and complete your forms digitally.

As part of the application process, please be aware that there is a non-refundable application fee of 2,500 THB. This fee is necessary to cover administrative costs associated with reviewing your application.

Make sure to double-check all your information before submitting, as accurate and complete submissions can enhance your chances of a successful application. Transcript

A high school diploma or equivalent in such of GED is required for admission to CMKL University. Applicants should submit official transcripts from all secondary schools attended and enrolling students are required to submit an official final transcript as well. For applicants, who attended a high school overseas, we require an educational qualification certificate issued by the Ministry of Education.
If your counselor needs to send an official document via email, please have them send it to admissions@cmkl.ac.th.

Test Scores

Submit an English test score from any of the following:
- Duolingo English Test (DET): A score of over 105 is recommended.
- TOEFL iBT: A minimum score of 70 is required (University ETS code: C532).
- IELTS: A score of over 6 is needed.
- If you attended a school in a country where English is the primary language used in government, you may be eligible to waive the English requirement.
- SAT score is optional, and the CMKL SAT CEEB code is 7791.
- ACT score is optional.

Recommendation

Recommendation letters are written endorsements from individuals who can attest to your qualifications, skills, character, and potential for success in an academic or professional setting. These letters are typically provided by teachers, employers, or mentors who know you well. For your application, we require a minimum of 1 recommendation letter and a maximum of 3.

To submit recommendation letters through the CMKL portal, please enter the recommender's email address and a message when prompted. Once they accept the invitation, they will need to log in to the system, where they can either upload a PDF or Word document or complete the form in the portal.

If you have a hard copy of the recommendation letter, please send it to our admissions office at admissions@cmkl.ac.th so that it can be uploaded to your portal. We recommend that the recommendation letters be dated no more than two years prior to your application.

Statement of Purpose

Statement of Purpose (SOP) is an essential part of your graduate application, detailing your motivations, goals, and qualifications.

Objectives: Clearly outline your reasons for pursuing this degree, including career aspirations and why you chose this specific program.

Relevant Background: Discuss your academic and professional experiences that prepare you for the program. Highlight key skills and knowledge gained from your education and work.

Additional Details: Include any notable projects, research, or unique experiences that enhance your application and demonstrate your readiness for graduate studies.

Your Statement of Purpose should create a cohesive narrative connecting your past experiences with your future goals, all within 250 to 1,000 words.

Resume/CV/Portfolio (optional)

Resumes, CVs, and portfolios each have unique functions: a resume offers a succinct overview of your professional experience and skills, a CV outlines your academic and professional history in detail, and a portfolio showcases a curated collection of work samples that demonstrate your abilities in a specific field. We welcome all formats. Please note this is optional.

Awarding of Transfer Credits

Students who have earned appropriate scores on the  Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), or A-Level, or college examination are often awarded credit by CMKL. Courses taken throughout high school at an approved college or university may also be recognized for credit.
