
CMKL University received the DCT Digital Ecosystem Partner Award 2026 at the DCT Digital Policy Conference 2026 on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at True Digital Park, recognizing the university’s contribution to Thailand’s digital talent development and innovation ecosystem.
Organized by the Digital Council of Thailand, the conference brought together leaders from academia, industry, and policy to discuss how Thailand can accelerate digital transformation and strengthen its position as a leading ASEAN Digital Hub.
The award was received on behalf of CMKL University by Dr. Supan Tungjitkusolmun, President of CMKL University. The recognition reflects CMKL’s continued commitment to developing future-ready talent, advancing applied research, and building partnerships that connect education with real-world digital transformation.
As Thailand’s No.1 AI & Innovation University, CMKL positions artificial intelligence as a foundation for learning, research, and implementation. Through its academic programs, hands-on learning environment, research initiatives, and industry collaboration, the university prepares students and researchers to apply AI and digital technologies to challenges across sectors.
CMKL’s participation in the conference also highlighted the university’s role in translating research into practical innovation. As part of the MedTech Co-Creation Lab, Assistant Professor Antoine Merlet presented the Smart Medication Reminder App, an AI-enabled digital health solution designed to improve medication adherence and reduce preventable health risks.
The project demonstrates how CMKL’s AI-focused research ecosystem supports innovation beyond the classroom, connecting technical development with commercialization opportunities and potential social impact. It also reflects the university’s broader mission to develop solutions that are relevant to industry, healthcare, and society.
