It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Orientation Week! This is the beginning of an incredible journey filled with exploration, connection, and personal growth. We start the week with an introduction to the Reverse Startup Pitching Programme Recap. Students are able to ask our adjunct faculty, Anne Cheng, CEO of Supercharge Lab, questions regarding their projects and Anne's experiences in the business world.

The remaning days is where the fun activities begin! Our second-year students have prepared various ice-breaking activities to welcome our new students. Starting off with a short introduction filled with insightful and funny questions to warm up, creating a relaxed atmosphere among all participants. After the short introduction, students are split into teams, and the treasure hunt game begins. They are given instructions by the seniors, including trying to find the various clues hidden in each room and getting the correct answers to the quizzes. Overall, the treasure hunt combines fun, problem-solving, teamwork, and exploration into an enjoyable experience.After the treasure hunt, peer mentoring is next on the agenda. Our new students are given clues, and they have to find out who their mentors are according to the clues given. As expected, everyone is able to find the correct seniors.

The week also offers a preview of R&D research is given by professors and special guests. In the session, students are given a preview of our university's research and development projects with various special guests and professor presentations. The cutting-edge projects and advancements showcased serve to prepare our new students for the contributions they could make in the future. Our students are then given the chance to choose and join an intimate session with more in-depth details about the projects they have just heard about. As orientation comes to a close, you are not saying goodbye to the excitement, camaraderie, and spirit you have experienced during this week.
