Smart warehouse entails applying machine learning and computer vision techniques to improve the efficiency of operations in warehouse environments. The applications include auto surveillance of objects in warehouses for safety reasons and tracking the inflow and outflow of products to reduce manpower required to keep track of the number of stocks. The common thread in all these diverse uses of machine learning techniques is the extraction of actionable insights from a plethora of data through surveillance cameras.
The challenge in tracking objects in warehouses lies in stressful warehouse conditions. These include occlusion, illumination variation, background cluttering and non-linear motion of the objects.
Task
