Akkarit Sangpetch

Dr.Akkarit Sangpetch joined KMITL in 2013 after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University. He helped established KMITL’s Faculty of Engineering first international program: Computer Innovation Engineering. The expanding academic collaboration between KMITL and CMU leads to the establishment of Carnegie Mellon-KMITL program and CMKL University. As CMKM (Thailand) program director, Dr. Sangpetch oversees the activities under joint academic programs. He also coordinates with Carnegie Mellon and Thai faculty members and researchers regarding the planned activities and provide guidance to ensure the success and quality of the delivered program. His research interests are cloud computing, distributed systems and emerging applications of emerging software-defined platform and connected infrastructures.
