Advancing AI also means improving how efficiently it uses resources.

GreenMind AI Hackathon 2026 brought university students together on 24–25 October to explore this challenge through hands-on large language model optimization.

Hosted by CMKL University in collaboration with ExxonMobil Thailand and the AIEI network, the event connected technical learning, industry expertise, and collaborative problem-solving around a shared goal: faster, more energy-efficient AI.

Congratulations to the winning team, TokenWorks, from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang:
• Nattapon Boondang
• Pawit Rungthan-udom
• Thanasak Songsri
• Nattapon Supaphon

We extend our appreciation to all other participating teams and every student who contributed their time, ideas, and effort. Your participation made this event a valuable space for experimentation and shared learning.

Thank you to the ExxonMobil and AIEI teams, as well as the mentors, academic experts, and organizers, for helping create this opportunity for the next generation of AI engineers.

At CMKL, we look forward to seeing students carry these experiences into their future projects and continue exploring more sustainable approaches to AI.
