The Accreditation Officer at CMKl University plays a critical role in ensuring that the university complies with accreditation standards and requirements set by relevant accrediting bodies. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accreditation process, including documentation, assessment, reporting, and communication with accrediting agencies. The Accreditation Officer plays a key role in maintaining and improving the university's accreditation status to ensure the highest quality of education and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Program Director with the operation and promotion of the Accredited Registers programme.
  • Undertaking documentary reviews of applications for accreditation and renewal, conducting enquiries, analyzing complex information, undertaking interviews, auditing processes and reviewing performance against standards during site visits.
  • Regularly assess the university's operations, programs, and services to determine compliance with accreditation standards. Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Writing detailed reports and preparing relevant documents for decision by the AR panel and maintaining accurate records of assessment.Investigating complaints and concerns about accredited registers in accordance with our accredited registers complaints policy and drafting responses.
  • Corresponding and engaging with stakeholders, including applicants, accredited, organizations, registrants, members of the public and other third parties as appropriate concerning the Accredited Registers programme and the accreditation process.
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders, including Executive and NonExecutive Directors of organizations interested in the scheme, applying for accreditation or accredited by the Authority.
  • To contribute to the effective and efficient administration of the accreditation process including the maintenance of accurate records
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and revision of university policies and procedures to align with accreditation standards and best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the progress of accreditation-related activities and ensure that corrective actions are taken to address deficiencies promptly.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to accreditation compliance and work with relevant stakeholders to develop strategies for mitigation.


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., higher education administration, accreditation, or quality management). A master's degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in accreditation processes, quality assurance, or compliance management, preferably in higher education.
  • Strong familiarity with accreditation standards and regulations in the education sector.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex documentation and data.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data management and reporting.
  • Proficiency in English
