Charnon Pattiyanon

Instructor

Dr. Charnon Pattiyanon holds a diverse academic background, having received his B.Eng in Computer Engineering (International Program) from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), M.Sc. in Software Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, and Ph.D. in Information Science from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST).

In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Charnon brings years of industry experience, having worked as a software engineer and technical lead in various sectors, including identity and access management and e-commerce. In 2023, he joined CMKL University as an instructor and carried the role of Assistant Director of the IT Department.

His research interests span various disciplines, including cybersecurity, information security and privacy, software engineering, formal methods, and AI and machine learning. His enthusiasm extends to blockchain technology, Bitcoin, self-sovereign identity, consensus mechanisms, and various decentralized technologies.
